This is an open letter to myself as I am stepping into becoming a new writer.

Things are kind of weird right now and you are revisiting an old medium that used to inspire you. This was the easiest way (and still is via text) that you’ve found to share your thoughts and feelings.

I know you remember growing up and not being a great student in science, math, and especially anything related to art. Yet when it came to writing, you were able to open your mind and have it come out in a concise manner. People enjoyed it and you also won writing competitions for the Science, Engineering, Math club you were a member of. It is a bit ironic that you found your strength in writing over being in the moment of pressure that these competitions would bring.

But I digress.. there a few new chapters occurring for you right now and you are doing the best you can. Treasure these new starts and honor the endings. Its easy for you to go down the rabbit holes, but there’s sweetness in the beginnings and endings.

Your love of research and sharing the information is valuable to you and others because your intention comes from the heart. Let this be your north star and you will learn to be better everyday. Whatever genre, style, or path you choose for this new adventure — make it a ritual and tradition to practice it everyday. Love the journey, share your love.
